Translation from Latin of the Chariot by St. Augustine, with several supplemental texts by other church fathers. Leaves 4-5, listof contents. Leaf 6 (leaf 1 in the original foliation), the beginning of the text of the Chariot. Other texts authors and texts include: leaf 115b, Symeon, Archbishop of Thessalonike "On the frequent taking of holy communion and the use of the monastic schema", chapter 360; leaf 118a, "On observing the skies from the earth", etc.; leaf 131b, homilies of Ephraem Syrus "On spiritual accomplishment" from the abbreviated lives on Feb. 13th, and on leaf 133a, his verses; leaf 136a, homily of Dimitrĭi of Rostov. Without ornamentation. Minor inscription on the inside of the front cover. Inscription on leaf IIa, dated 1880, about the transferring of the manuscript from one owner to the other. Scribal inscription on leaf 1a, dated 1815, which is the date of copying, and other information about the copied work. Another scribal inscription on leaf 135b, with the date of finishing the manuscript (1815) and the scribe's signature.
